About CGAIT

CGAIT is a professional organization made up of public sector IT leaders, directors and CIOs from municipalities around the state of Colorado. Membership is primarily comprised of local government IT leaders, but is open to all IT professionals working in the public sector.

The current membership includes over 75 organizations.

Members include large organizations like the Adams County, City of Aurora, City of Colorado Springs and Arapahoe County and small to mid-size governments like Littleton, Brighton and Vail.

Local government information technology organizations all manage similar technical, political and policy issues, even though they may serve populations of various sizes. The members of CGAIT share real-world experiences on how to implement best practices, avoid common pitfalls, collaborate on projects, and share new and innovative ideas. Additionally, one of the primary strengths of CGAIT is the access it provides to a talented peer group that face common business and technology challenges.
