Kateri joined the Broomfield Information Technology team in 2017 as the IT Operations Manager. She was appointed Director of Information Technology in 2020. Prior to that, she worked for the City and County of Denver in Technology Services as the Applications Manager and for the Denver Public Library as the IT Manager. A Broomfield native, Kateri brings more than 25 years of information technology experience to Broomfield with most of that experience in local government IT. Kateri earned her Master’s degree in Information Technology Management from the University of Phoenix and her B.S. in information technology systems with an emphasis in database management from Metropolitan State University of Denver. In her spare time, Kateri enjoys gardening, paddleboarding, camping and hanging out in Grand Lake with her husband, their college-aged daughter (Go Rams!), and 2 pugs. | Aaron joined the Colorado First Judicial District Attorney's Office in early 2022 as the Director of Information Technology. Prior to, and throughout, the pandemic, Aaron served as the IT Customer Success Manager for the City and County of Broomfield, helping to ensure smooth operations during challenging times. Aaron has previously held leadership roles in the hospitality industry, operations management, and state government investigations. His career has taken him to locations throughout the United States, as well as to Budapest, Hungary and Chennai, India. Aaron was born and raised in Texas, but spent many years throughout his childhood in Colorado. He and his family settled in Longmont in 2018. Together with their pets, they enjoy exploring the outdoors and staying in for movie night, among a slew of individual hobbies. Aaron earned his B.A. from the University of Houston with a major in Political Science. | Jonna began her career in IT working in the private sector holding various roles throughout her 30 year career. In 2015, she was hired at Boulder County as the Service Desk and Application Support Team manager. In 2020, she created the IT Learning and Development Team, which she now manages. This team trains all 2,500 Boulder County employees on all things related to technology. As a rural Colorado native, Jonna has enjoyed working and living in the Denver Metro area since 1980. Her hobbies include camping, traveling around the US in her RV, and spending as much time as possible in the mountains enjoying family and friends. | Alex joined the City of Lakewood in 2018 as a Project Manager on the IT team, and is currently the city's IT Business Transformation Division Manager. She and her team partner with colleagues across the city to identify opportunities for innovation and to make all that we do at Lakewood better through technology. Prior to working for the city, Alex worked in various project management and business development roles across several industries within the private sector including international law, education technology, and advertising. Alex was born in Lakewood...Ohio! She grew up on the shores of Lake Erie and she and her husband moved to Colorado in 2014 after seven years in New York City. Alex loves walking - and you can often find her exploring her neighborhood or the mountains on foot (or cross country skis), paddleboarding, or trying to decipher the Wordle. Alex has a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Journalism from Miami University. |
